Being the creative child in a family of mathematicians and computer scientists, I always felt a little bit torn between both worlds. I pursued a career in mathematics and computational visualistics, worked in the IT industry for several years and founded a successful IT company with my husband Lars.

Since 2009, I have been taking my painting to a next level by taking regular art classes at the private art schools of Ucrainian artists Ina Bermann and Rimma Volkova. This is when I fell in love with oil paint and made my first oil paint florals, portraits and paintings for children.

After a creative painting abscence during the birth of my 4th and 5th child, I picked up my paints and brushes again this year and decided to never put them down again. Making art is such an important part of my life, and on this site I invite you to join me on this journey.
